After a first phase in which 30 projects were chosen to receive training on crowdfunding, Santander X Explorer provides an extra resource to 20 of them. These will go on to a second stage in which they will be provided with a more personalised tool: accompaniment in a fundraising campaign using this form of financing.

Once again, we have seen how the areas that most interest the entrepreneurs whose ideas have been chosen focus on education, health and environment: 16 of the 20 projects selected propose measures for different problems in these sectors, which are present in the SDG 2030. What solutions do they propose?

    • ACCESSABILITY (Inter-American Open University, Argentina): an e-learning platform for people with hearing disabilities, focused on providing tools for entrepreneurship.
    • AcuRate (University of Porto, Portugal): digital platform for integration of acupuncture results (and related disciplines) that allows analysis of data from epidemiological studies using statistical analysis and Artificial Intelligence resources. This provides exploratory results, enabling peer-to-peer comparison of best practices and results.
    • CERTYCHAIN (University of Vigo, Spain): a platform where users and companies can sign and verify different types of documents, such as employment contracts, leases, academic certificates, and purchase agreements, etc.
    • COMIS (Metropolitan Autonomous University, Mexico): its goal is to save time and reduce waste produced by people who want to cook their own food quickly, healthily, and balanced. The idea is to offer traceability and awareness of the origin of products and responsibly manage leftovers.
    • DE TU ARTE AL MÍO (Panamerican University, Mexico): a project that promotes, disseminates, and drives social transformation through artistic and creative experiences.
    • ECOWATER (National University of La Plata, Argentina): creation, development, and implementation of smart flow meters for efficient water control and management.
    • GREENCYCLE (Catholic University of the Holy Conception, Chile): an innovative educational platform aiming to empower children aged 5 to 14 with knowledge about the circular economy and environmental sustainability.
    • GREENFLUSH (Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany): a sustainable toilet rim block designed to reduce the ecological footprint.
    • InfinityBIO (UNIASSELVI, Leonardo da Vinci University Center, Brazil): a platform connecting producers and consumers of ecological agricultural inputs (fertilizers, fertilizers, seeds, etc.).
    • KET-BALL (University of the Andes, Chile): Russian kettlebells with the ability to vary their weight using sandbags. Can transform into a medicine ball.
    • LOOKNOR (University of the North Santo Tomas de Aquino, Argentina): a virtual reality game where a person, through solving challenges and questions, generates metrics to map formations and universities based on their vocation and/or personality.
    • REGANVI (University of Engineering and Technology, Peru): a scalable solution that uses data and contacts to facilitate interconnection between companies and recycling entities, transforming how they access recycled products and promoting more sustainable business practices.
    • SKILLERS (Mexico): seeks to turn learning into an experience that encourages children to explore their skills and interests.
    • SOPLIT (Catholic University of Uruguay): an application in the gaming and sports industry. Aims to offer direct benefits to community members and make a societal impact by donating 10% of its revenue to education-related causes.
    • STUDIA (Spain): an educational platform aiming to change how students learn and prepare for exams through a personalized, efficient, and effective experience to maximize academic performance.
    • Study AR (Spain): a project that seeks to bring virtual reality and augmented reality technologies to children and older adults, complementing occupational therapy sessions.
    • SUNSHINE (University of Xalapa, Mexico): a family restaurant focused on the elderly, providing a unique and healthy experience.
    • TFORESTTAINNING (University of Concepcion, Chile): a service for training, evaluating, and monitoring the fitness and body composition of wildland firefighters worldwide, workers with high physical demands in an adverse working environment.
    • UNBLIND (Anahuac University Mexico): aimed at people with visual disabilities, this project proposes eyeglass frames with integrated cameras and headphones, allowing for various functions such as text-to-audio conversion, distance measurement, or image, color, and face recognition.
    • YALA (Peru): an auction platform that functions as a marketplace, connecting buyers and collectors with stores and sellers of collectible items.

Step by step, we will see how in the coming weeks they all launch their crowdfunding campaigns to raise funding and different types of resources. Their projects will move forward, exploring ways of entrepreneurship that improve the world and, in some cases, reaching the goal of becoming profitable businesses.
